Skyline Landscaping

Project Background:

Skyline landscaping is a full-service residential and commercial landscape design & build provider. They work with clients to create beautiful exteriors that include greenery and hardscapes. Skyline is based in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Formally known as Bugs Lawn Care, Skyline owner Tristan Kirby has grown his operation and craftsmanship over the years to yield a truly professional landscape experience.

Scope of Work:

As Bugs Lawn Care grew into Skyline Landscaping, Launch Kit came on board to create the new brand identity system. The goal was a unique identifier that presented itself well on vehicles, apparel, and business material. The logo should highlight Skyline's focus on professional mannerisms, high caliper work, and emphasis on user experience.

Wordmapping:

Through our initial discussion, Launch Kit was able to develop a collection of curated words that encompass the feel of Skyline. Ultimately the brand centers around the idea of respect.

The Stylescape:

Through the use of imagery, colors, typography, and textures, Launch Kit developed a stylescape to communicate the feeling and energy of Skyline. 

The Results:

The result was a logo that showcases a highly unique monogram icon that communicates elegance with a sense of modern architectural design.

The next leg of the project will be a website design that presents Skyline's new brand online.
