Inspiring Imagination
Picture this: you're on a family cruise in the Bahamas. Nassau, to be specific. The boat has docked, and you and your family have been exploring the beautiful islands. You have 30 minutes before you need to return to the ship. What should you do?
Introducing Build A Pal Bahamas, a captivating experience for kids to create a unique memory.
Ashton Cleare is originally from the Bahamas and then went to the United States, where he attended Saint John's University to earn his degree in Economics and Finance. Spending time in the States gave him a chance to develop his business skills, which would eventually evolve into entrepreneurship skills.
Cleare worked at Deloitte as an Audit and Assurance Associate for one year before returning home to the Bahamas to serve as the Director of Communications for the Minister of Youth Sports & Culture.
During this time, Ashton began developing his entrepreneurial and charitable ideas, eventually leading to Build and A Pal.
First Retail Location
Build A Pal Bahamas officially opens its retail location in Nassau, Bahamas, just a short distance from the cruise ship docks. The concept is simple: It's an engaging experience for kids to craft their unique "Pal," outfitted with fun tropical attire. Capture a photo together, and the family has a lifelong memory.
At its core, Build-A-Pal creates memorable gifts, but the concept can make an even more significant impact through Ashton's ideas for charitable connections and fundraising opportunities.
Volunteer Fundraising
Members of the Nassau community can partner with Build-A-Pal to raise money for their cause. Here's how it works. An organization can partner with Build-A-Pal for a specific date. During that period, a percentage of sales goes to the organization.
To spread the word, volunteers can hand out marketing material in the downtown community, raising awareness of their cause and letting pedestrians know that if they'd like to support, Build-A-Pal shares a percentage of their sales this afternoon.
As the program develops, we look forward to seeing the list of organizations that Ahston and Build-A-Pal Bahamas partner with to impact their community positively.
Expansion
With BT5 Building, Silver Str, Nassau, Bahamas being the first location for Build-A-Pal, the vision runs beyond just one space. With proof of concept, Ashton has ideas of opening future locations in places like the Nassau airport: more memories, connections, and volunteer opportunities.
Scope of work with Launch Kit
