Noah Wyn joined the Launch Kit team in the spring of 2023. Prior to joining Launch Kit, Noah has built a successful wedding photography and videography business called The Sol Collective. He also built up a healthy portfolio of relationships with local businesses via his freelance commercial work. With a love for building connections, sharing stories, and fine tuning his craft, Noah has earned the reputation as a trusted expert in the Grand Rapids community.
When he's not behind the camera, you can find him lacing up his running shoes and hitting the road with is track team, Society Track Club. In 2023, Noah ran his first Marathon - The Chicago Marathon. He's got a handful of more races on the schedule for the coming months.
At Launch Kit, Noah Wyn takes lead on our Content Studio projects. He works directly with clients to create unique photo, video and design campaigns that are purpose driven. Content Studio projects are typically backed by a business initiative, a mission, a community event, brand building or a marketing campaign. By creating a custom scope of work for these projects, Noah is able to build a bundle of photo, video and design assets that provide lasting value to our clients.
If you could have dinner with any historical figure, who would it be and why?
It would have to be Christopher Lee (Count Dooku, Saruman) because it seems like he lived a pretty wild life before his acting days. I bet he's got fascinating stories.
If you could master one new skill, what would it be?
I'd master the skill of composing music. I think there's a ton of creative energy to be shared through music, but I basically only know beginner piano haha.
What's your favorite local spot in Grand Rapids to get dinner?
My favorite spots are Donkey Taqueria, Pind Indian Cuisine, or Hancock. It kind of depends on the scenario, but I've never had a time eating at those places that wasn't fantastic
What's your favorite part of the creative process?
My fav part of the creative process is either the actual time "on-set" getting to flex my technical skills, whether it be a run and gun super fast environment, or a time when I get to slow down and really focus on making things perfect, or the part of an edit where it just "clicks" and I know the route I want to go with the story.
Launch Kit teamed up with Stir It Up Bakery in 2023 to build them a refined Identity System. They had an existing logo in place but knew that it wasn't an accurate reflection of their business.
