Introduction
Today I’m going to share a story about our work with Simply Revival, a consumer supplement brand created by a local entrepreneur right here in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
This project was the perfect blend of local business roots with nationwide reach. It shows exactly how a small business can look professional online, stand out against competitors, and build credibility with their audience.
Photos: Studio and Lifestyle Content
For a direct to consumer e-commerce brand, the website and social media platforms are the storefront. Just like a brick and mortar business needs a polished sign and inviting displays, an online brand needs professional product photography to create trust and drive sales.
When Simply Revival reached out to Launch Kit, they already had clean 3D renderings of their products. These are valuable for any e-commerce store, but renderings alone don’t tell the full story. Customers also want to see authentic, hand-crafted photography that is real. That is where Launch Kit stepped in with two professional photoshoots designed to elevate their online presence.
Studio Shoot
The first shoot took place in our studio, where we created colorful product images with props and supporting elements. We began by analyzing Simply Revival’s ingredients to understand the types of sets we should design. Launch Kit team member Rachel Bolt sourced the materials while photographer Daniel Bremmer crafted the scenes and captured a variety of product shots.
The result was a collection of fun, fresh images ideal for website product pages, social media content, Meta ads, and email marketing campaigns.
Lifestyle Shoot
For the second shoot, we took the products outdoors on a sunny Friday morning. The goal was to create lifestyle imagery in a natural backyard setting. Using natural light and shadows, we styled the products in real-world scenarios that consumers could relate to.
These lifestyle images pair perfectly with the studio shots, giving Simply Revival a balance of polished product photos and authentic lifestyle content.
Results
We’re proud of how the Simply Revival imagery turned out. What makes this type of photography so powerful is its longevity. Unlike a one-off ad or seasonal promotion, authentic imagery has an evergreen shelf life. Simply Revival now has a library of professional images they can use across their website, social media, ads, and email marketing for years to come.
