We first connected with Tommy Pohlman, founder of MadLocal, in early 2025. After one look at their stunning real estate photography and video work, we knew this was going to be a fun and productive partnership. Tommy had the content dialed in. What he needed was a team who could take that content and build a system that worked behind the scenes: a website, CRM, and structure that supported predictable growth.
The Website Build
Tommy already had hundreds of real estate media projects under his belt. So we started by listening. Launch Kit web designer Mackenzie Broekstra took time to fully understand MadLocal’s services, what makes them different, how their workflows run, and how they deliver a consistent experience for real estate clients across the Nashville area.
Once we had everything we needed, Tommy dropped a well-organized Google Drive packed with beautiful photos and videos, and we got to work.
Our first milestone was building out the core pages of the site: services, pricing, team, and a few resource pages that would serve as the foundation. These pages were built to convert, while giving potential clients a crystal-clear picture of what MadLocal offers.
Once the site was live, we shifted our focus to building a long-term SEO strategy using blog and portfolio content. Every time MadLocal finishes a shoot they want to showcase, they send us a rough write-up with project details like neighborhood, services provided, and any standout features. Then we take those notes and build them into a polished, optimized case study that lives on their site.
This process is simple, fast, and powerful. It strengthens search engine optimization for real estate photography and videography in Nashville and gives their audience regular proof of the incredible work they’re doing.
