Kam Meuser started Defined Detail in 2020 as part of his entrepreneurial journey. As a high school friend of Kam’s, I watched his passion for cars take off when he bought a Subaru WRX. (He was the first in our friend group to get an actually cool car.)

While the car was definitely cool, what stood out even more was the community it created. This opened my eyes to the perspective that cars are timeless pieces of art that bring people together, spark stories, and build lasting connections.

From DIY Website to a Smart Marketing System

Like many small business owners, Kam started out by building his own website. It was a solid option in the early days when he had more time than customers. But once the work started rolling in, updating the site became a chore and a distraction from what he does best: detailing cars and interacting with clients.

That’s when Launch Kit entered the picture.

We kicked things off with a custom photoshoot. I joined Kam for a late afternoon session while he worked on a few client vehicles. We captured original photo and video content that would anchor the new site in authenticity and showcase the quality of Defined Detail’s work.

Then Launch Kit's Web Designer Mackenzie Broekstra took that content and built a custom website that reflected exactly who Defined Detail is - down to the last detail.

At the time, Kam was still fine-tuning his service menu and pricing. Our program was a great fit because it allowed us to launch a polished site quickly, then make continuous updates as his business evolved. That flexibility is key for growing service businesses.

Turning the Website Into a 24/7 Sales Machine

Next, we implemented our signature smart website tools to turn the Defined Detail site into an automated marketing and booking system.

We started by setting Kam up on the Launch Kit CRM platform. This gave him one place to track clients, manage appointments, and streamline payments.

We built a custom booking system right into the website. Now, when someone wants to schedule a detail, Kam just sends them a link. They pick a time, get automatic confirmations and reminders, and show up ready to go. Even brand new clients can book straight from the website. No back-and-forth messaging required.

That means Kam can stay focused on the work, while appointments fill themselves in the background.

The CRM gives Defined Detail all the tools it needs to stay organized without the hassle or cost of complicated software.
